Whether you have no where safe to stay tonight, are sofa surfing or have somewhere to stay but it is very unsuitable (for example in extreme disrepair) you could apply for help from Coventry Council as homeless:

You won't lose your home straight away for arrears, and in most cases you can take action to stop it. However it's important to get advice as soon as you can. Contact our debt team on 02476 25 2047 or mas@coventrycab.org.uk.
